Is a DI in YOUR pedalboard??

I have two. One near the beginning, directly behind the tuner and one at the end. At the beginning it's a Behringer BDI 21, the one at the end is a Millenium DI-33.

Got a Hartke Bass Attack 2 at the end of my chain. It's always switched off and it's a very nice and clean passive DI box this way.
It's also a failsafe for all the digital wizardry on my board (HX Effects, HX Stomp, etc.) If these go down I still have a two channel preamp at the flick of a switch which covers about 90% of my gig needs.
Hell, even if power goes down I can request phantom power from FOH or pop in batteries and keep going.

My Radial Bassbone OD has a good one built in. VERY flexible pedal. Although I have not done so yet, I would be perfectly comfortable using it straight to PA without an amp in a small acoustic- type setting.

Mine's at the end of the chain, serves both as DI and noise-killer, helps keep my rig quiet.

I do. Currently I’m running an Orange Bass Butler at the end of my chain. Dual (biamp) xlr outs.

I have a Radial Pro DI (it's a great choice if you're feeding it with a buffered signal on a pedalboard). If the FOH person wats me to use their DI, I use the unbalanced through connection from the Pro DI into that, and the balanced out into my IEM mixer. It they're good with using my DI, I send them the balanced out from the Pro DI, and use the through connection into my IEM mixer.

I use a SansAmp BDDI. It has DI out of course. 1/4 out, and 1/4 parallel out. So I can use it to go to FOH, my rig, and a recorder. Or here lately I've been using just the SansAmp and no rig into a Zoom LiveTrak L-20 multitrack recorder/soundboard, and going into either 2 or 3 tracks simultaneously.

mine is in the amp head i normally use. i wouldn't put my backup DI on my pedalboard because my pedalboard isn't an 'always' thing with me. so: no.

The Broughton Messenger preamp on my board has a DI that I've never needed to use, but it's nice knowing it's there as an emergency backup to my amp's DI.
