I just ordered one recently after looking at it online for a few years and It's coming in 4 days. If you own this bass, what are your honest opinions on it? how was it outside of the box? is it good for the price? Thank you for any comments!

I guess, to be more helpful, I know a friend that likes his HB strat knockoff. All things considered it should be a nice instrument.

There's been a "I own a Harley Benton club" thread running on TB for nearly 10 years.
You'll find opinions on the B-Series in there.
I don't have a 6 string HB, but I do have a fretted and a fretless B550, both black. I have never bought an HB that I felt was a poor value.
I particularly like the fact that even in passive mode, the tone controls work, if a little strangely. By that I mean that in passive the bass control only works on the upper half of its rotation, and the treble only works on the lower half. But there is enough control in that space to fine tune it a bit.
Mine are not main players, but do enjoy playing them both!
