Is anyone else truly unlucky with their instruments?

I've had 2 Fender Mustang bass, 2 Thunderbird 2 and 2 Supro Huntington basses-each of the same model. And every single time, I've had to have a replacement from the manufacturers due to a fault that reoccurred and was unfixable. I've just had the output wire on my Huntington break connection for the second time! I know it's easily repairable, but I just seem to be unlucky. I reckon it's coming close in terms of the time I've played the basses compared to the times they've been away in repairs. That's not to mention the time I waited ages for the replacement MIJ Mustang and they sent me a standard MIM by accident. Sometimes, it makes you want to give up playing, since so many things go wrong!
