Is anyone using a single iPad to run xr18/xr16 and Onsong simultaneously?

I have an XR16 which I have been using a sepRate Galaxy Tab E for while using an older IPad 2 to run Onsong with some backing tracks. I would like to be able to run the xr16 from the IPad, switching back and forth between Onsong and x-mix. Should I be concerned about running both at the same time?

Yep. iPad 2 doesn't have all that much horsepower. I run Mackie Master fader 4.x on it and it is tapped... haven't run the Behringer software. I would expect similar performance though.

The Soundcraft UI might be different as it is browser based and the processing happens in the box.

Not that it applies if you already own the B'Box

I run BandHelper and the XR18 no problems with my iPad mini.

What about running both from your Galaxy Tab? I run XairQ (the monitor only app) and a lyrics/chord app at the same time on my Galaxy Tablet. (I don't remember which model). My lyricpad app and XairQ might not be as demanding as your apps, but I've never experienced any lag or crashes. The only lag in the system was with the wireless interface, which is no longer a problem since our sound guy got an external router.

Onsong is iOS only.. they state that they have no plans to port it to Android.
It's why I still have my old iPad 2 (that and the new ones are too friggin' expensive) and run everything else off my Andy tablet!

I used to run OnSong and the X32 apps on the iPad, but I ran into issues with it only being 2.4Ghz.. Andy tablet is dual-band...
I'd bet that the iPad Pro, or the Gen 4+ iPads would handle them both without issue.
