Is it okay to eat chilli every day?

The Great Benefits of Eating Chili

The main component in chillies is a chemical called Capsaicin, which is responsible for the intense heat sensation. Capsaicin lowers blood sugar levels, improves heart health, boost circulation and protects against strokes. Eating chillies can have a very positive impact on people who are overweight or suffer from diabetes because they reduce the insulin levels. Known as circulation boosters, chillies can have a major impact on your health by boosting circulation and also act as a blood thinner to help protect against strokes.

Important! Frequent consumption of fresh chillies may cause stomach problems. Dry chillies don’t have the same effect. They still do contain capsaicin but don’t harm your stomach.

The regular intake of chillies can help to minimize the effects inflammatory diseases have on the body. Capsaicin also provides effective pain relief if applied on skin and also has antibacterial properties..

Chillies Help to Burn Fat
Capsaicin is also a thermogenic compound and increases the metabolic rate, which aids in the fat burning process.

To me, the best chili has no chili powder, and steak instead of ground beef.

1 lb steak (any inexpensive cut will do)
1 can Tomatoes; (16-ounce)
1 can Tomato sauce; (8-ounce)
1 Green bell pepper
1 mid Size onion
3/4 c Red wine
1 can Kidney beans (16-ounce)
1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
2 Bay leaves
Cayenne pepper (1/2 tablespoon at most)
Salt and pepper

Saute onions and peppers in a pot with vegetable oil until brown. Season the steak lightly with cayenne, salt and papper; cook the steak on the grill and cube it; add the cubed steak to the pot. Add bay leaves, tomatoes, tomato sauce and kidney beans. Stir together. Add salt and pepper, and up to 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper (or to taste). Bring ingredients to a boil and leave uncovered. Lower heat and simmer for at least one hour, longer if needed for consistency. Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve chili hot with crackers, cornbread or grated cheese. It's Yummy!

This is adapted from Tom Wopat's 1997 recipe. He also adds wine, louisiana hot sauce and worcestershire sauce, but I leave them out.

You will die. Everybody does. But in the meantime, you will enjoy life.If you compare it to other things you might be eating otherwise, i think you will find it's a wash, not to mention the benefits of cayenne on the human body already mentioned.
Look at the general life expectancy in your family. Other than outright abuse such as tobacco drugs occupational hazard exposure and excessive alcohol, that's pretty much what we have, as a rule.

About to search the farts...

Chillis sounds like a super food, but do you get the same benefits from chili powder?

2 cans of Van Kamp's Pork N' Beans always gave me rockin farts.

As I get older it's Pork.

I tickle myself sometimes. My Grandaddy used to walk around the house with 20 year old tight whites hanging off his butt and baggy medical scrubs. He'd scoot through looking for food or a news paper and let out these rancid, lasting squirts that sounded like what you'd imagine a duck being gagged until it pukes would sound like. Pork now gives me these. They sound like his, smell like his, and in a demented way it's like he's still with us.
