But will they reverse global warming?

I eat pickled jalapenos almost every day, dried peppers of various kinds on a regular basis, and get through bottles of hot sauce like they were ketchup. I judge peppers by whether the top of my head sweats a little or not. Beans are the food of the gods, too. My wife grew up in England and has been fully converted into a person who eats truly spicy food instead of bland and greasy. We will live forever and leave behind toxic remains when we finally go.

Yes, chilies will reverse global warming. They can create peace and harmony in the Middle East, cure cancer, and reveal the true nature of God and Man in the Universe.

Give Chilies a Chance, Man!

Turkey chilli... Veggies... Beans... I just can't get enough... I want to start making it like 4lbs of turkey at a time... And eat it every day for dinner. What can happen? Will I die?
Why turkey? If you like the taste better or if it is a cost thing go for it. If it is for health reasons you might want to read the label on the ground turkey and compare it to whatever ground beef you would use. Ground turkey is not automatically a better health choice. It depends on the quality of the turkey you get.
I also have a harder time digesting turkey than I do beef, but that may be just me.

No so much the fat, but the cholesterol and other things associated with red meat... But I haven't actually looked into it, just assumed. Plus having heard all the bad things about red meat... Like ten pounds of undigested red meat in or colons...

There are is a lot of information going around. I don't know about the ingested meat in colons but we can check the label and the meat and compare fat content and cholesterol.
My wife always preferred ground turkey until one day we looked into it and found that a good cut of ground beef was as low in fat and cholesterol as ground turkey. Sometimes the ground beef was better.
Don't take my word for it though. If you are interested you can check it out the next time you are in the store.
Otherwise keep rocking it with the turkey chili. Nothing wrong with that if that is what you prefer.

Speaking of peppers.

When I was a wee lad my great granddad had a sandwich, a big red pepper of some kind, and a Dr. Pepper for lunch every day. I asked him one day why he ate the pepper and he said "I've never had to be wormed."

Frank Zappa was plagued with digestive problems much of his life and died of colon cancer way too young, he loved chili and was known to eat lots of it while on the road.

He also said cigarettes were his favorite vegetable. Amazing that the Zappa diet hasn't caught on in the nutritionist community yet...
