But do we use them?
In Canada, all they have are coins - no paper one dollar bills.
We have both, but I never use them and I don't see them in circulation.
Can you imagine what would happen if our government tried to take paper dollar bills out of circulation so that you had to use coins? I and most of the country would be ticked off. Therefore, as much as the US Treasury wants to get rid of the dollar bill and would save money doing it - it ain't gonna happen.
To tie it back to milk bags. If we don't let the government jam dollar coins down our throat, do you think we will let dairies jam us with milk bags.No way!
That is not to imply that one country is right or wrong - just different strokes.
And alternately, I can't stand paper one dollar bills. It's so much more convenient to carry pair of Toonies instead of 4 1 dollar bills![]()
Dollar bills would be so inconvinient.

I can't believe a bass player would totally ignore the issue of weight! This is more serious than I thought. Get a grip on yourself man.

I've never complained about weightI'm CanadaMan, I live in an igloo eating the hearts and tearing the heads off of baby seal pups for a living. Pishaw, weight.
how do you drink out of a bag?
I know I drink out of the jug![]()
You got me there. When the southernmost part of your country (the Canadian Riviera, so to speak) is north of Cleveland, you gotta be tough.
I think jugs win.
