Is It Wierd To Use Amp DI -> Outboard DI?

I think the only way to get rid of my hum problem, but keep the Post EQ of my amp is to go from my GK 700RB-II's XLR DI out to another DI of some sort, and then to my soundcard. This will remove hum, but seems like I'm adding too much.

Is that normal to have to do that to remove hum? I'm thinking of the PreSonus TubePre because it's fairly cheap. Supposed to warm up the tone as well.

rather than adding stuff to get rid of the hum, why not track down the source of the hum ? I did some recordings off a GK 1001 RB II and - no hiss, no hum ... I think your issue lies elsewhere.

Try a different/better cord. (hopefully without any adaptors)

I agree with anderbass... the fewer things in the chain between your bass and the interface, the less room for things to interfere with an otherwise clean and quality tone. Maybe start with your bass, a good cable, a quality DI, and a good XLR. Get the tone from your hands and your bass.
