I can plug into a MB with any of my basses and dial in a sound I really like. Maybe not the best possible, but always satisfactory.

I have an OLD MB F1 that is now in its place and sounds great. The LM 800 has extremely little use, and had been on the shelf since the last repair. If you ask me, the non-Italy stuff is crap. Two months ago, I thought my old Little Mark III died. It wasn't my Markbass amp, it was my Epifani cab.
Is it made in China or Italy? Mine was Italian made and I’ve gotten several years of service. I had a 1x12 combo and it burned up. I think it was made in China. My LM800 just died for the 2nd time in a year. No more MB for me.
I only tried one mark bass amp, the TTE 500. I thought it was the worst amp I ever tried. Not loud at all, More like 80-100w compared to every other amp I’ve used. Can’t comment on the tone since it wasn’t loud enough to hear with a drummer using a 410 ..and I’m sure I had the correct ohm cab. So maybe I got a bad one but I wasn’t about to try another.
I had a couple of MB heads but never their spkrs. I think I ran 2 4 x 10 cabs mostly. Goliath III, big assed Hartke cab that was voiced deep like an 18. Never had any kind of definition or any other tone issue.I have limited experience with MB. A 2x10” combo in the studio, a LM head with 4x10” and a small 10” combo.
I can get a good sound but somewhere in the low end they seem to lack a bit of definition. Not saying they’re no good because they are light and easily transported but I still like that defined low end from my GK and Eden amps.
Maybe it’s a trade off for weight or something inherent in the design and maybe it’s just me, there are a lot of fans out there.
