Just bought a decent ($800-$900) bass off of CL the other night. All strings had like 8 wraps around the tuner (some overlapping) and the ADG strings were wrapped to the wrong side of the tuner. Its something I see all the time with guys who should know better. With all the complaints of tuning issues and how often I see headstocks like this I wonder how many times its just user error and not the equipment.
I have students every semester whose lack of basic life skills is absolutely flabbergasting; I wonder if some of them will survive, much less thrive, as adults.
