Is that real?

I am about to buy a fretless bass by Fender. Second hand.
Have found two one teal Jazz and the other black Jazz Deluxe.

Could you help me by checking if they are the real thing?
So many fakes around, I don't want to get foolled again.
The thing that rises my suspicion is the color difference betwenn the headstock and the rest of the neck.

The Deluxe looks legit to me.

The control knobs on the teal Jazz aren't right. Maybe an aftermarket mod?

The black is an American Deluxe, looks legit to me. Probably post 2006. Not sure about the teal one, something about the neck has my spider- senses tingling...

The american deluxe has the same body and neck as my 1993 american standard. It does look like a legit Fender to me. I will tell you that the 22 fret neck is very difficult if not impossible to replace, so a fake/forgery is unlikely, however there were versions made of this bass in Mexico also during the 90s, so closer inspection may be required as too what model it actually is.

The american deluxe one is real. The other one... I've never seen a vintage reissue logo'd MIA fretless (aside from the Jaco) or one that has the trussrod adjust at the headstock end. I think it's a replacement neck.

I will be trading my Gibson Les Paul Studio - Ebony for the black one.
Teal - will let it go, as I don't want to be living in doubt.

Decal on the black one looks fake to me--and no "Made in ...."? Little too muck like this one for comfort:
