Hello everyone. Im a pretty new bass player and Im looking to get a gigable rig as my next purchase. While I may not be gigging in the very near future, I want to start playing with drums and I know my practice amp isnt going to cut it. While amp shopping I cant help but notice the Acoustic B200H Head and B115 Cab deal. Here is a link for the product page. This package deal is definitely in my price range and I was wondering if anyone had any input on this setup? If this is not so good, is there any alternative reasonably priced? Thanks!

Is the Acoustic B200H / B115 Cab a Good Choice?

That's a fine first rig. And, later on, when you do start gigging, you can add another speaker cab and have a monstrous rig. I don't know about the long term, how well it'll hold up, but they sound nice, and are priced right for young players that want to get started. Go for it.
They do sound nice. They've got that classic/old-school Acoustic warmness. I can't speak for the cabs as i got mine to go along with a vintage Peavey 1516, and I am very happy with the sound for R&B/jazz/soul type of stuff.
