I played thru the above Hartke a couple of times. It was in a backline setup as the stage bass amp and a line to the PA. I liked it a lot as a stage monitor.
I use an Orange 2x12 'isobaric' cab that's really compact. I've never played a room (or a drummer) that it couldn't handle.

MAS 112, or even better: the MAS Bodai 112.
Seriously. I have the Bodai 112, and an amp will run out of gas before the speaker cab does. There is no commercially available 1x12 that can touch it.

AudioKinesis, Barefaced, MAS, Fearful/Fearless all make lightweight "super" 12's that could do what you want. You didn't mention a budget, so these are the cream of the crop without regard to budget.

Anything with a DI to the house would work, right? I was doing gigs in a 500 seat theater and didn't turn my GK 1x12 louder than four. Granted, we had the drummer behind plexiglass shield...
A buddy just traded me my tiny Acoustic B15 for a brand new Crate BX60 with a 12". A new player lady was having trouble lugging it around. It's really for around the house but I'm gonna try it at rehearsal and see what it's got.
I'm fully aware it's a Crate, still was a sweet trade considering how little I used the Acoustic.

These are the cream of the crop and will be the loudest and have the best frequency response and the best dispersion, etc.
Depends on the band and the room. I did a gig in a concrete venue with a "light" rock band with a GS112 and it was fine, but that was probably the acoustics. I would recommend the super cabs though. I have a 15/6 and it gets very loud so I imagine a 12/6 or something similar would handle a lot of power.
These would be the ones that IMO would get you the closest, and might even succeed depending on style. What kind of rock did you say you're playing again?
I'd trust my Fearless F115 to handle just about anything I'd personally need to throw at it, and I typically describe my needs as you have. Honestly not sure I'd feel the same way with the smaller F112. YMMV.
Aguilar's DB112 cab is fantastic; I use two of them, paired with a TH500, as a micro stack and it does the job no problem!
The Euphonic Audio Wizzy 12 has done well for me. The Baer M112 is another one I'd add to the list.
I've got a couple of Avatar 126 cabs and most of what i do can be covered with one of them. I use a Carvin CX500 with either one or both and it is plenty loud. I did a thing a few weeks ago with 2 guitars and a drummer and one cab was plenty but it was a smallish room.
I've had this rig for a number of years so i'm sure their are even better examples available today but i don't think it would be to very hard to find what you want.

GK MBF500 and a neo 112 get me through just about anything. I'll add additional neo 112 for large gigs if need be.
I did pick up a MarkBass CMD 121 for when stage space is tight and rehearsals. It kicks some butt as well.

Dont have any gigging with it but the above mentioned orange sp212 was hanging in there easily with a line 6 410 and a marshal 410, plus a drummer, playing classic rock. I went ahead and bought another one of those cabs after that too .
Totally depends on the tone you're chasing and the volume of your drummer, but I tried running a similar rig (MB2-500 and Neo 112-ii) for a single rehearsal, and with the way I was running things (prominent but IMO not extreme lows), I found that a single Neo 112-ii wasn't able to keep up with the amp or the drummer. Picked up a second cab right after that rehearsal, and the pair had no such issues.
As you can guess, the drummer was an extremely hard hitter though.
I agree with Pat Harris and ahc re: the MAS cabs. They are phenomenal for their Big Sound/Dispersion in such a Small Footprint on Stage. Additionally, I use Baer, Accugroove and Vanderkley 12s with my Thunderfunk or Vanderkley heads, depending on the gig. Also, the Genzler array cab and the Tecamp 12" cabs pack a lot of Punch for their weight/size. I use those two brands of cabs sometimes with their respective Magellan 800 and Puma 1000/Jaguar amps. Obviously, I own Way Too Much equipment and admit that I suffer from a Severe/Chronic case of G.A.S.!!! ...... I know that it's said very often on TB but I have to reiterate that we are SO Lucky to have a Lot of Fantastic, Lightweight equipment to choose from nowadays. It's a Vast improvement over the cabs that we used in the 70s and 80s!!!!
