Is there realy any need for huge rigs?

Bill...If I had two of your DR250's I would never use a monitor or anything else for that matter.:bassist:

I believe in headroom. I used a redhead combo and a 1x15 for a while but then I'd be in a situation where I'd need more power. I don't think that it's necessary to have a big rig but I don't mind moving mine and I like to have the headroom.

There is more than one context or situation considering Volume, number of Band Members, Type of Music, size of PA, quality of PA, size of Venue, etc....

You can not fit all situations into one mold. You can clame to on an internet forum and have folks agree with you but internet and reality are two very different things.

Not speaking to anyone in paticular just making a general statement. :)
