Is this a legit MIA P-Bass?

As the pictures I posted show, it isn't a HWY 1 Bass.

Even if the logo was replaced, the HWY 1's fingerboard has a flat bottom. The bass he's looking at has a curved bottom on the rosewood.

Pictures make it tough to determine authenticity, but it looks MOST like a 70-75 P Bass judging by the logo, the curved radius on the bottom of the fingerboard, the tuners, the way the burst is sprayed, etc..

This is probably an early 70's P-bass with a non-original pickguard. Without much better images and clear views of the neck heel, pocket, body cavities, etc., it is hard to be sure.

Hey guys thanks so much for the infos! I'm a complete idiot when it comes to MIA Fender. As much as possible, I don't want to ask the seller since all questions will be open to all bidders. The more I ask, the more they get infos so I rely heavily on your inputs.

And yes, I only play Japanese-made basses BUT I feel incomplete without MIA Fender P, especially old models. There is something there with American made Fender that makes it unique
