Sure, 44-02 is an actual Lakland model. A 2x4 is pine lumber, much like this bass in question is made of (though looks like the bass is a 2x10). I just stuck the terms together, much like the OP did putting this (clearly some kind of test project) together

2x4 has in the USA been the generic term for a very common board that you would use for almost any project.
Measuring around 2 inches high by 4 inches wide, length can be any size. Very common for house studs and general building as the framework.

Building a fence, dog house, wagon, shed, bridge or bass? Load up the 2x4s and get to building.
