Is this bass that ugly?

I think it looks awesome. I love buckeye burl tops and I like Foderas. Ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't think it is absurd at all. It some cases it might look a little gaudy, but if done right I think it can look great.

I've always thought that burl finishes of all wood types look like solid puddles of puke.

block inlays are not my favorite, but thats a fodera....if i could get one of those, id play it no matter what it looked like!

i like the inlays as im a fan of old fenders and rics but i dont like quilted tops. for me its on or the other

Kinda like my old Mustang. It looked like a heap. But judging by looks can set you up for a wreck.
