I don’t think anyone would fake that. Look at the bolts and the branding on the pickups.
I’m curious if the original pickups are bespoke for this bass & wound by Joe Barden. I’ve never used any of his catalog item bass pickups (one day) but have 3 guitars equipped with them & a big fan.Have you seen this thread? Maybe some pointers there?

Here's a few shots of my Mouradian CS-74. I've been looking for one of these for many years and here it is! It's all original except for the pickups. I’ve seen Pat Badger playing a bass with the same headstock but couldn’t find the body shapeDidn't the guy from Extreme also play these?
Yes Pat Badger rocked one at Wembley stadium in factDidn't the guy from Extreme also play these?
Never heard that these things were rare Jim made them by himself. I met Jim awesome guy RIPSupposedly Ed Roman did some copies. I cannot confirm or deny that statement.
Squier played one yes. The connection with YES went as follows. Jim Mouridian was from a family of rugmakers. He loved YES and made them a giant rug with the logo on it. They loved it and remained friends, Jim hooked him up with those basses. This looks like that weird scale length bass that chris Squire plays during his Hot licks video.
Is this one of those bases?
I am in possession of it. My wife inherited it from a family members estate.Wow that’s a rare bird! I own CS-74 #3 and I’m very sure that’s 100% authentic. You won’t find those particular pickups anywhere else, and all the details appear correct. Tell us more about where you saw this!
