My mind is trying to fill in the blanks...

The guy is using a noname fretless. Sometimes he kind of hits notes that are almost in the ballpark and he handles the bass like it's semi-familiar. Is it possible he might be able to play something if he had a fretted bass? If he's in some kind of institution and someone there knows he used to play bass, maybe they went to a flea market and bought him a cheap bass without realizing it's fretless.

Am I crazy?
