I've seen some AWFUL youtube bassists in my day, but this takes the cake. There's no way he can be mentally sound. This video makes me cringe. At least when I first started I was able to distinguish between right and horribly wrong notes.

Why did you feel compelled to make the Autistic reference? Do you think Autism and autistic people are funny? Sorry, I just think that was a terribly thoughtless and unnecessary reference to a real problem. CDC now says 1 in 69 are born within the spectrum and you make jokes about them?
I think he's more concerned w seeing himself on the video camera monitor or laptop whatever he's recording his karaoke with. no hate.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'll admit that as a child I would make the same observations, simply because I was a simple minded child and I didn't know better. Then I grew up and had friends that had children within the spectrum, and that made me much more aware of the hardships that these people and their families face.
Relax, dehosier. The OP didn't say anything about it being funny, that was other responders. He made no jokes. The OP asked if there is something wrong with this guy, and offered that as one possibility. While his suggestion may have been made in ignorance, he never suggested any of the things you've just accused him of.
OP, I know a few autistic musicians, and they are all phenomenal musicians. I can honestly tell you: no autistic person could be that bad. Only a "normal" person can be that bad.

OP, you went over the line with that ignorant label. You'd be singing a different tune if you were with me yesterday and heard the 14-year-old daughter (she's on the spectrum) of one of my besties render the "Downtown Abbey" theme, which she learned by ear, on piano.
