Is this Legit or a prank? (Fakenbacker question)

The First Act custom shop turns out soma amazing gear. You're not gonna be seeing it at Walmart though. I guess John Hall could call his lawyer, but I'd bet they made that for someone who ordered it that way. I don't know that though.

I like the Thunderbird-ish bass they do and wouldn't think twice about playing it, First Act on the headstock or not.

I kinda like it but at the same time it's a freaky scary looking thing.

This is one of those times where a customer certainly wouldn't be right if they "ordered" it this way.

Just like I can't go to a Ford dealer and ask them to custom make me a Corvette, you can't go to a custom shop and have them custom make you a Rickenbacker with another name on it.

It would have GM lawyers all over the Ford dealer and Ford in question if that happened.

I would think the guitar on top would make more sense

I can see why you say that...but I just noticed that even on the original 4080, the bass is on top. I guess the person who ordered it wanted it to look just like the Ric

Yes a geddy pic:D it just makes more sense to me to have th eguitar on top you know? because i would think it would be harder to play it lower then a bass and also you have the huge bass neck in your line of site.

Maybe they sell it with the bass on top if your mainly a bass player and the guitar on top if your mainly a guitarist?
