Thanks for the post. You helped prevent me from making it my life's purpose to PM every person that buys a bass on TB and telling them it is fake, overpriced, they are stupid for buying it, etc.
I bought it as I had a similar bass when I was a metalhead in the mid '80's. I thought it would be cool to get an older BC Rich regardless if it is a "parts bass" or whatever.
I haven't gigged it yet and don't think it will replace my Sadowskys or Stingrays anytime soon but it sounds suprisingly good IMO. My initial impression is that it sounds MUCH better than the 3 MIM Fenders (2 P basses and a J) I have owned in the past.
This is a fun bass for me and the only gig it will see in the near future is Halloween.
