ISO info for Fender bass case

Anyone know of a website that has info about Fender bass cases? I've got a 1975 P coming, and wondering if the case it's in was available in those days.

Here is a pic, if someone can tell by seeing it.

probably not. those abs cases are more 80s than 70s. in 75 the cases were silver. or at least this one was
1974 / 75 Fender Mustang custom color bass case

Not original. That bass would have come in a case covered in black tolex. They started using molded cases around 1979 or so.

Roland GR 88 is correct, the cases in that era were black tolex (with reddish/orange interior). A ‘75 could have 2 different correct cases... the ‘67-72 “tail logo” case (which for the basses, were actually used up thru late ‘74/early ‘75 before all the old stock of these cases were gone)... or it could have the later ‘72-78ish “no tail” logo. Both of these cases were covered in black tolex.

Note: in the late ‘70s, they added “Made in USA” to the no tail logo cases, which would not be correct for a ‘75 (too much later).

The 1976 Precision I used to have came in a black Tolex covered case with the tail logo, red interior, like the one in the first picture of The Bass Clef's post above.
