Isolating Bass Tracks

From time to time I come across familiar songs where one or another of the recorded tracks is presented isolated from most of the other tracks, most recently "Ramblin' Man" by the Allman Bros. Does anyone know how this is done? I can EQ whole songs to allow the bass tracks to be more prominent, but no way can I isolate them with my existing equipment. Such capability would be immeasureably helpful. Any info or suggestions? Thanks.

In most cases, we cannot get a bass track isolated from a standard stereo CD release. The real isolated ones on youtube typically come from Rock Band or other games that have the tracks isolated for that purpose.
If you need a particular song, search youtube, and if its not there, it's probably not available :)
