Isolation for bass amp sitting on bass cab

Just curious, if anyone makes a cushion or pad that can go between the bass amp and bass cab to minimize the vibrations from the cab into the head, especially for tube amps. I see there are isolation pads for hifi equipment like turntables and speakers but just wondering if a bass OEM makes one.

I have never seen one but as long as you don't block any cooling vents you could cut up a cheap yoga mat.

I have used Isoacoustics Isopucks between a cabinet and head before. Worked well in my use case.

Edit: I already had these in a drawer from a multipack purchase. Probably overkill to buy them just for this purpose.

Tool drawer liner, yoga mat, bar mat, anything will do fine. It's pretty non-critical

I like the bar mats. They have tiny little fingers that dissipate the vibration in addition to being kinda heavy for their size.

Shelf/toolbox drawer liner always worked for me and I always seem to have some around.

I found a nice rubber welcome mat at Menard’s for $3. It’s thin but with little nubs, grippy enough to lean the cab back if I wanted and not worry about the head slipping.

I use Sorbothane for a ton of stuff in my studio. It comes in different shapes, sizes and densities.

I just plop it on the soft case that transports the head.
Beware the Amazon bar mats with the Mesa TT800, the feet have a chemical reaction with the bar mat plastic and begin to dissolve it. I was like "where's this water coming from?". I've seen it before when the plastic feet of a Verizon set top box dissolved table top varnish.

I've got a Stageworks non-slip pedal mat that I've used to put between the head and cab. Works really well

I believe the OP is looking for 'Vibration Isolation' for a fairly heavy head, not a grip-pad to keep a class D head from sliding.

I can sympathize, and it's not easy to find Iso-Pads that are for a 30lb or 50lb piece of gear. Vibration Isolation Pads or feet are easy to find for something that has the weight of a home-stereo turntable etc., or for something the weight of a shimmying clothes-washer or shop air compressor.

Upthread, @EvilJ seems to have offered a brand of vibration absorption/isolation products that are tailored to a variety of applications, some suited to electronics like audio amplifiers, even targeted to intended "working load".

I've had and have some tube amps and even racked solid-state setups that have needed isolation. Folded black washcloths or even doubled-over wetsuit-type material has worked for me, but something purpose-designed that could even stay attached for transport certainly would be nice.

In that case closed cell neoprene of 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness should serve the purpose.

It was Free.
It’s able to withstand the pressure from the conical hard plastic feet on the SVT.
I plan on getting Neoprene
Have other priorities atm
