I use the standard isp. It's after my comp, b2, mxr m80/m84, chorus, flange, wah, and screamin blues.. I use the screamin blues w/ bass dimed, treble cut completely, volume at unity and drive at maybe 1 or completely off.. It does an amazing job of turning my sound into a super glassy/tubby svt or mesa if I want it. Although I don't have much noise in my chain, I use the isp as an always on and set at about 9'oclock... The only real noise I get is when I have the mxr m80 distortion and mxr m84 fuzz on.. I have blendable cleans on both pedals and run the parallel out from the m80 into the low gain of my hartke ha3500 so I always have a 2 amp sound.. Cleans and effects.. Isp is great though... Especially for recording and solo jam stuff.. In a band setting, the isp is always on, but I really don't need it need it, but I do love having a gate.. Esp for when I can just hit my tuner or roll volume on bass down and leave all gear on during set breaks or practice breaks with no noise whatsoever even with all effects on... Like I said I love it.. There are other versions of the isp decimator, but the standard one works very very well for me and I see no point in changing it for the others.. Esp since I only paid 50 for it.. I had a boss ns2 but the isp is better IMO. Period.
