ISP Decimator users

I am thinking adding an ISP Decimator to my board . I have done a search and cant find any threads on how effective this pedal is

Can someone who uses one give me an honest opinion

it depends on how noisy your setup is, do you use passive pickups? and lots of effects?

I didn't have a need for mine with emg pickups and what not. which is why i'm selling mine

I used mine w/ my Ric and muff clones. It was PERFECT for killing all coil noise and muff buzz when I was not playing. It takes a few minutes to dial in, but once you do, it's 'set it aaaaaand forget it'!

They work very well. I have never used another noise gate before so I don't know how it compares to others, but I was happy with the purchase. -40db was the setting that worked best for me.

I use a Spector Rex2000 with upgraded EMG 35DC's and 18v onboard actives .As for effects ,I use Ibanez digital flanger ,sansamp bass D.I. , Tech 21 bass compactor and an EMMA Discombobulator all through my effects loop on my Marshall VBA 400 . I use planet waves cables too . I get a tiny bit of hiss when open the volume on the bass ,even though all the cavities are shielded .
I was just hoping the ISP Decimator would clean up my signal .
