Issue with neighbor

Want me to drop by, drag him outside and beat the **** out of him?
IT's his WIFE! Deal is I live on a "private road" which in reality is a gravel 2.5 track with 9 houses on it, that comes off a larger gravel 2 lane road. The neighbors in question live on the entrance corner. PRoblem is they don't think our road exists legally, since they do not understand the concept of a road easement. Deeds and plat maps all indicate 60' easement, they want to keep us to a 12-15' gravel strip. SHE gets flaming drunk during day, then the stuff starts. At one pint she was throwing chunks of horse manure at our cars whenever she would see us approaching on main road, flipping us off, etc. Came home one night around 10 pm and they had hammered a picket fence of about 20 pieces of 1/2' rerod into the roadway edge, leaving them about a foot tall. No markers, nothing. Nice people.:beaver:

Of course, I have a special place in their heart - I'm the one who grades the road. :)

Since you said that you were getting the death-ray ready, what's the hold-up?

You have your death-ray solution at hand.:beaver:

...Isn't there regulation about these drones?...

Currently it's against the law to fly any wet fuel model aircraft for any purpose from any place but an officially designated AMA flying field. You can fly small electrics classified as Park Flyers anywhere not prohibited by local ordinance. Unfortunately, the FFA and AMA have not kept pace with technology and a derth of turnkey quadcopters equipped with both still and video cameras have flooded the market in the last several months. Since they are too small and are not capable of total autonomy in flight, and are not airplanes, having no wing(s) to measure they are a currently not restricted in any way as the regs were written before the advent of the quad (and more) rotor VTOL aircraft went from discussion to reality.

All that said, it is illegal to fly any model or drone for commercial purposes without an FFA approved airspace variance and commercial operators ticket. Because they are so easy to fly and so readily available, and local LEO's are largely ignorant to it, this section of the USA Patriot act is not being enforced and tons of people are using these 21st century model electric helicopters to produce photos and vids for comericial purposes, and so far it looks like they are getting away with it. Given how simple it is to ID the people who shot those vids and pics, I'd hate to think of what might happen if our Uncle decides to take an after the fact napster approach to this practice.

Either way, if video proof of wrongdoing is turned over to law enforcement by a citizen, it would not be used as evidence, it would instead be used as justification to launch an investigation where (legal) evidence of wrongdoing would be gathered.

So there's this weirdo neighbor who I'm pretty sure is up to no good. I buy a small remote control aircraft with a video camera on it. Kind of like a drone. I end up getting pretty good with the controls and I end up doing a fly by at his house, right in front of one of the windows and well well well, what do I see.
The video tape has been submitted to the cops so I can't talk about the on-going, felony investigation. I think he found out I'm the owner of the remote control aircraft. What should I do?

But wait! I must be in a time warp because my drone's being attacked by an RAF Hurricane! It's like I'm trapped in an old-school Hitler Channel marathon. That crazy *******'s trying to ram me! Where's my cell...
