Afraid not, I'll try and check them out. Right now GSR is a cover band aiming for function gigs and putting out "From the basement" youtube videos, but we're talking about doing some writing of our own once the cover stuff is up and running.

Sorry, I didn't check how many times this song's been posted. The uptempo disco part starts at 1:10 min., but the whole song is epic disco era music. She was so talented.

Dug it. Hard Funk!...never heard it before. I checked the release date as 1977. Do you think this has an almost Wild Cherry thing goin' on (not that WC didn't do their share of "borrowing").

Glad you dig it! I'm not really getting Wild Cherry from it, though...

I don't really think of "Slick Superchick" as "disco," per se, but (a)it's a great dance tune, (b)it's from the mid to late 70's, and (c)there's so much crossover that I figured it could work in a disco thread.
