As I understand it, "J.S. Theracon" is the pseudonym of the great P-Funk keyboardist Junie Morrison. You can hear the P-Funk influence in this song.

The verse reminded me of Lullaby by The Cure.
This French band called "Dabeull" plays disco and funk music using only vintage gear. Here's quote from the bandleader:
