Did an opener for a hew band tonight. We're a blues/roots band, they're a classic hits band. after a half hour or so, I lug my bass off the stage and ask who'll dance with me (wireless). We kick into some Chuck Berry and the other band leader's wife comes up and dances with me and the big bass. She hit the E string for me a couple of times, others jumped onto the floor. It was a blast
After we're done, and the other band is playing, I thanked her for joining me, would have been awkward to be out front alone for a whole song.
She says "Thank You, I love the way you play the CELLO"
