I have the NSP, love it, wouldn't trade it for the world, and think it's probably my favorite bass I've ever played, yet I'd still get this one at that price. Nothing wrong with two Precisions. String one with flats, one with rounds, and you're good to go.

Good pick up fellas! Yeah...winding the strings down on the tuner post (downwards towards the ferrule) will get you better string break over the nut.

yeah, the A string was buzzing heaps because it was wound up rather than down. I changed strings to a set of TI jazz flats (they're quite sticky) and made sure the strings wound down, adjusted the bridge height (threaded saddles) and it plays really well!

Hey Fenders, contrary to popular belief, aren't for everyone. If you're gonna break into Fenders, going Mexican (especially nowadays) isn't a bad thing. And in your situation, you got one of THE BEST Mexican Ps they make with some upgrades at a good price. You're doing it right. Haha

A USA nitro satin P is probably not gonna be just a little more than $665 usd.
