Now I've done it.
I've had a big green Sovtek Big Muff that I love the tone of (particularly with my P-bass) this thing just kills with tone and gives that nice warm fuzz that annihilates any mix.
However the darn thing was too big and I could not find an adapter that played well with it, so it never made it to my pedal board...
Until now...
I met Greg of Solid Gold FX who assured me he could rehouse it, make it so I could use an adapter and asked if there was anything else I wanted done to it.
How about adding a clean blend, better jacks, pots and a blue LED?
On standby
Engaged and waiting to make some noise!
And now the inevitable sound clips. Signal path is stock Fender Highway One P into a Peavey Minx 110 practice amp recorded through A Zoom H4n using the onboard mics.
Clean Tone
STE-000.wav
Fuzz and Nothing Else
STE-002.wav
Fuzz with Clean Blend set to Unity Gain (for some reason this clip is quieter than everything else, however it gives a fair approximation...)
STE-001.wav
