It's St Paddy's Tomorrow

I was getting torn up on Irish Carbombs Saturday night and plan to have a couple tonight. No getting torn up though, have to work in them morning. Will be getting a cab or DD for the ride home to be on the safe side though.

The carbomb is a pretty common cocktail in America. Adding "Irish" to the beginning reflects the ingredients' origin rather than an actual car in Ireland being rigged to explode. There are plenty of other variations referring to other locales as well.

You don't think the 'Irish' version came first, and that the other variations came after it?

Mixing baileys, guinness and jamesons, you guys shouldnt be allowed to mix drinks ever !

Do you really name cocktails after terrorist attrocities?

+1 , Bit of a ****ed way to go about things, can you imagin what a fuss people would kick up if there was a cocktail called "The flaming towers" or something. Luckily there probably wont be one, unless they make some good american drinks :p

It's worth trying.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear about one.
