I've decided to go with the Kemper.

I didn't want to start another thread. So I just added to this one.

I picked up a Kemper Stage a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty happy with it. Having owned and used the Fractal Axe II as well as the Line 6 Helix, I can say without reservation that the Kemper has provided the most realistic sound of the Ampeg SVT that I have ever heard other than the real thing. Even through the QSC powered PA speakers, I have that unmistakable SVT sound and growl I remember from when I used one during a studio session. What really is striking is how responsive the Kemper profiles are to the instrument and playing style. It's so much like playing through the actual amp it's downright scary. Just my opinion of course.

I've been looking at this Kemper device as well. The Stage looks like a great format but I wonder if its limited in some ways compared to the full "toaster" versions of the Kemper. Have you found any meaningful limits using the Stage ?

I've played with several guitar players who use Kemper units and have been very impressed by the range of tones and control it offers. I'm well equipped with amps and cabs and am kind of an old school guy when it comes to bass tone ... but I am also not afraid of technology that might help me get the sounds I want and also potentially reduce the amount of gear I need to haul to gigs.

As I know, the Kemper Stage don´t have the Poweramp, like the Rack and Toaster versions...

Recently got a Stage and it's awesome, I'm selling all my other gear. I might get a QSC K10.2 later, for the time being I'm playing through headphones at home and through a monitor or into the fx return of a bass amp with the band.

Kemper really deserves a good and accurate cab like the QSC, and a line out to the FOH.
