"I've made a huge mistake"

As a 6'2" bassist, I can say that you should relax :) Had the same problem, being self-thought, and trying to get faster I put too much strain on my wrists. Once I learned to relax my hands, pain is gone.

And, there isn't too small bass, I replaced big 5-stringer baseball bat neck guitar with tree smaller 4 stringers, and am enjoying playing tham.
