Jaco my baby Rottie!

I had a Rott up until about 5 years ago. Beautiful dog, very smart, and GREAT with the kids. I got him when he was 6 weeks old (well, my wife picked him out). When he was 4, he got hit by a car. Broke him up bad enough that he had to be put down. 
His name was Bubba.
Shortly thereafter, I got a Boxer that I named Peanut (I was/am a large 311 fan
). He as just as good of a dog as Bubba, great with the kids and all. I had to get rid of him when I moved to an apartment. He now lives on a farm about 20 miles from me with another family, so he is getting taken good care of. I still see him once in awhile, and even though it is quite seldom that I do see him, he still remembers me.

We take our cattledog and aussie shepard sheep herding and one day there was a pack of 10 rottie pups herding ducks. It was the cutest damn thing. They are so smart and powerful.

there is this little kitten that we and the house across the street that take care of. it's a little girl, but we named her "Greg" (long story)...anyway, when i take Jaco out front to take a whiz, Greg is always by the front door taking a nap. Greg isn't afraid of Jaco and Jaco wouldn't hurt her...it's the funniest thing, he's so gentle with her. He just sticks his little nose on her body and nudges her. His head is as big as her whole body!

The only way it could be cuter is if the ducks were riding baby lambs and the puppies were being chased by 3 year old twins in matching overalls with little engineer hats on.

My friend has a big rottie/doberman mix that is a really sweet and gigantic dog. He also has this cat (named "Outrage") and they play together. The cutest thing though is that they sleep together and the dog literally cuddles the cat. The cat will lay down and the dog puts his arm over him.

Make sure to expose him to your bass playing early. My rotti loved to hear me play, the new pup hates it.
