It's a bit Rubenesque for meWhat don't we like about these? The paddle? The script? I kinda like it.

Nah, I quite like them. Prefer, actually. All 5 in line headstocks look bad.
I agree as to the early fender five in lines, but this one works for me. The thing about five in line is that you can still bend your g during behind the nut. Not so ready with a 3+2 or 4+1. But I totally get it.All 5 in line headstocks look bad.
Honestly, its a sum of the parts kinda thing. The script and branding are fine. Its the combination of the lollipop tuners and the Gumby-esque headstock. It reminds me of a parts kit where they left the headstock oversized and generic thinking the end-user would shape it themselves. For some reason it just repulses me.What don't we like about these? I thought the AC headstock was hideous.Years ago I saw a few and played one at Bass SanDiego it’s not nearly as bad in person.Honestly, its a sum of the parts kinda thing. Nice...fingers crossed for the Demeter preamp but I'm not holding my breathI checked with Tyler Guitars and they said they're shooting for a prototype in the Fall and announcing at NAMM.
It looks like a visual representation of shouting "Tyler" into a digital delay set on infinite slapback. At a distance, it looks like a tire track. If it's good enough for David Hungate, it's good enough for me.
