Janky-A Rigs of Doom

They are some what affordable.
I recently got this head. The cabinet I've had since 1973.
I recently read an article about these, I didn't realize how much of an impact they had in their day!
So behind that blue panel is a rear-facing 15, blowing into a divergent W-shaped folded horn?
Mine has old caps starting to break down. Kinda noise, like frying eggs all the time. Ought to get the power caps changed out.

The line 6 is feeding the top and bottom with the swr feeding the hartke. I didn't crank it as I value the little hearing I have left. Funny thing is you can hear the hartke over everything else even with the vol much lower than the others.
I though about putting my ampeg combo on top instead of the swr but my back wouldn't like me much if I tried that. Also those poor lil casters wouldn't appreciate it either.

That looks like a monolith of jank doom. Curious...which amp model do you use in the Line 6 to go with the SWR head's sound? Do you try to blend two really different sounds, or get the two heads' sound as close as you can to one another?
The closest is the "clean" one as the swr preamp doesn't color the sound much. Running it through the hartke results in a super clean and crisp sound. It's almost harsh but cuts through in a noisy band.
I stacked them just for fun, I am not planning to use it like that much.
I used to have a LowDown 110 combo for a minute, and if I recall the "clean" model on that was supposed to be an SWR model. If your LowDown 400 head is similar, that seems to make sense. I never bonded with the LowDown 110 for bass (although at that point I didn't know how to play much of anything on the bass yet), but that clean model, wound up tight with a little compression, made a great rhythm guitar sound. KERRRR-ANNNG! I should have just kept that amp as a guitar amp instead of flipping it.
The cab was a 1992 Crate B80XL before the power amp died. I pulled the amp out and installed an input jack on the back. I use it for a practice amp. Looks janky but I gotta tell ya, I really like the sound that comes out of it. I'm gonna drive it til it dies.

That's a lot of weight on those things, I'd be concerned they'd break, or break through the cab wood.
Dang it I should not have sold that other cab! 8 10's is okay but 14, whoa ...

Did you go with "L"s or "B"s or one of each?
