So, I recently bought a bass on ebay. It is branded "Janock". If you search it online, it does not produce results. It says on the back that it was made in Japan. The only other place it has turned up in is Funkadelic and Sly and the Family Stone videos. Does anybody know anything about the company? The previous owner of the bass said that he bought it off of an ex-squeeze bassist, who reckoned that the company was bought over in the nineties. Any info would be great.

I have the same problem, I got my guitar many years ago at a school flea market but I have never heard of this company and no one I have asked knows anything ether. Please tell me if u have found any more information about them

I believe you're looking for "Jarock", which were apparently made by Ibanez in the 70's. That's all I got. Good luck!
