Japanese Squier Club??

They still seem to be a relatively well kept secret. Sometimes I see them for sale by people who don't realize that they are desirable. You just have to learn to spot them.
Since I forgot to mention it in the first post, mine's an 82.
That's a beautiful Jazz! I'm not a big Jazz bass fan but if I ever see a nice JV era Jazz, I'll be on it

Just picked up an "A" serial P Bass (which translates to '85, I think), and it's sweet. I'll go take some pics and be back to join the club!

Man, this is a nice bass. It's got all the advantages of feeling like a worn-in 25-year-old bass (which it is), without the disadvantages that many US Fenders from this era can have.

The MIJ Squiers are awesome basses. Every time i pickup my 83' P bass i fall in love with it all over again. The neck is perfect and the action is superlow w/flats. The tone is better than almost any P bass i have played and it has that magic vintage,vibe and mojo. I can understand now what i never understood or knew about until i finally found one and bought it. Maybe we should keep this all under our hats..Hummm?
Those are really rare, wonder where the string tree is. I think the price is fair.
