Jason Newsteds current strings?

I know that Jason Newsted used La Bella HRS on his basses. But I recently noticed on some of the more current pictures, that he seems to use a different brand of strings nowadays. You can tell by looking at the headstock. La Bella strings have black endings. The endings of the set on the more recent pictures a blank. Anyone any idea on what he's been using lately?

Major bump for this one because I too am curious. Not only his recent strings but also strings he used in the past. I have seen multiple sites of Jason's equipment list him using both La Bella and Ernie Ball strings (assuming the Ernie Balls are also stainless steel??), and that's where I am confused. Some sites say Ernie Balls on his 4 strings and La Bellas on his 5 strings, some sites don't. I am wondering if he did use both brands together or was he exclusive to one brand and at after a period of time made a switch?

His sound being so ever changing each album fuels this curiosity even more. Does anybody on here know for sure what strings he used during what time frames or recordings?
