So recently I bought a Fender Squire 60s Style Precision Bass and when I got that I decided to go to town on my Jay Turser with modifications.
I took my strings off and ripped all the frets out. I sanded the fretboard till it was smooth and to my liking and I ****ed with the pick-ups a bit. I bought some nice Jazzy flatwound strings and put them on my bass. This is the best my 50$ Jay Turser has ever sounded. It's beautiful.
