I look at it this way,I love the bass and have had it for a very long time.He would prob just sell it so I figured $250 is no big deal.I'll just cut back on the tacos and do laundry at my brothers house for a year,that should make up for it.

Actually I managed two bands that toured all over the US and Europe for years.My drama skills are quite refined.

Don't do that. Tacos have been found to increase your bass collection.
