jazz bass Identification

hello
I want to know if this bass guitar is genuine or fake
It has a serial number behind the Headstock saying z5019820
The logo is a Fender Jazz Bass '70s style without usa made ​​Fender Jazz Bass only
On the plate of the neck says corona california
Does anyone know this kind of jazz bass

Looks like someone put a Fender decal on a cheap copy.

At first I thought HWY1, but not with that finish. Agree it doesn't look right.
Tuners look cheap too, as does the string tree.

The serial number comes back as good though.

I would pass.
 
It's amazing what you can do with waterslide decals and an inkjet printer. If you are going to the trouble of making a counterfit at least do a good job. The angle between the words Jazz and Bass looks wrong. Looks like there is a line of text missing under Fender and at the end of the headstock.

I am no expert, I just looked at a few 70's logos that I googled.

I would give maybe 200 if it played good just to show off while on a shoestring budget, however I would never try to sell it as a Fender that is wrong.

I know a guy from years ago that put a fender Strat logo on a Strat copy and sold it for $600 to one of his students, when the father of the student found out there was hell to pay. $600 was a lot on $$$ in the earily 80's
