Hi,
what's the sonic difference between series and parallel wiring?
In layman's terms, i prefer a punchy sound than absolute low down rumble which tends to be boomy. In HIFI terms, i prefer bookshelf speakers than floorstanders. (Hope it make sense to those who know). Not sure about bass players' terms.
mine has three knobs for front PU volume, rear PU volume and tone. i'm having problem with stiffening pots which are getting hard to turn. i'm thinking of wiring straight to jack becos i normally max out both PUs and adjust tone at the combo amp. If i just use one PU, i find that i like the front more than the rear.
