Jazz Bass Neck Replacement advice.

Alright, people.
Finally my beloved J arrived from the workshop. Excellent job by my luthier.
The neck is installed and the headstock looks just fantastic with the new decal and the vintage Wilkinson tuners. Let me say the tuners are amazing and half the price of Hipshots or Gotohs.

The only reason I'd care about a serial# was for identification if the bass "walked away" But that is easy enough to correct. Stamp or engrave the same serial number on the new neck with an "A" at the end. Make sure the same number is in the neck pocket of the bass and in a pickup or control cavity hole.

Not hard to do or have done...
