Jazz bass pickup position measurements

Hey y'all, I'm thinking about replacing the MEC humbuckers in my 1999 Warwick Streamer Std. with Nordstrand Big Singles (there'll be a gap between the pickup and the body, but I don't mind).

What I want to know is if the pickup positions will be similar to a jazz bass. On the bass in question, the center of the neck pickup is 12" from the 12th fret and the center of the bridge pickup is 15" from the 12th fret.

I looked online for the actual spacing but all I found was arguments for 60s vs 70s pickup spacing, so maybe one of y'all can help me by measuring your bass?

Neck pickup is 10 3/4" and bridge pickup is 14 3/8" from the 12th fret. these are measurements from a 2007 AVRI '62 Jazz. Good Luck!

Awesome, thanks for measuring! It seems like my neck pup will be considerably closer to the bridge, but the bridge pup will be approximately in the 70s position. It probably won't sound just like a jazz bass, but I think it will sound good!

Pickup position chart.jpg We made a database for a German speaking platform using the distance between 12. fret and the middle of the PU. Have a look(btw: it seems that I can only upload pictures here. PDF or Excel would be better).

on my Fodera Emperor Deluxe 5:
in humbucker mode:
from 12t fret to center neck pu: 2.56"
from 12th fret to center bridge pu: 5.9"

In single coils:
from 12t fret to center first row (closest to the neck) of pole pieces of the neck pu: 2.36"
from 12th fret to center last row (closest to the bridge) of the bridge pu: 6.3"

PS: are the measurements in that sheet above from the 12th fret?? I guess they are from the nut?

Are you measuring those from the 12th or 24th fret? 2.56” and 5.9” seem awfully close to the 12th fret…
