Jazz bass pickup upgrade

Hi all

I'm going to be upgrading the pickups on my jazz bass and have some questions firstly before proceeding.

I've got custom shop pickups to go in and they've come with a brass shielding plate with a ground wire on it, but where do I ground the wire to? Obviously it will go through to the control cavity, but where do I actually ground it?
