Hi everyone. I recently rebuilt a mexican jazz bass in this thread:

Im used to playing a warwick corvette standard active with the 2 band EQ. Is there a similar setup for the fender that incorporates the same control layout? (Vol,Balance,EQ stack).
Is it as simple as finding a preamp setup and maybe new pickups? Is there a ready-made control plate with that layout? What will it take to get an onboard EQ on this Jazz? I dont think i have too much room for a battery in the cavity and id like to avoid drilling a new hole for input on the bottom of the bass to make room as ive seen done.
Ive seen too many layouts and products to know what will accomplish what im trying to do. any suggestions or help?
